What is IELTS?

IELTS is a globally recognised and popular English proficiency test for those who speak English as a second language. If you are planning to live and work in an English-speaking country such as Canada, most employers will require you to have taken an IELTS test.

The test assesses all your language skills from reading to writing, speaking and listening. You cannot fail the IELTS test, you will simply be provided with a level based on your ability.

Where can I take the test?

British Council has over 80 test centres located across Canada. Simply find one near you and book your test online! We have plenty of IELTS tests available at convenient dates and times to suit you.
