York University is one of Canada’s largest public research universities and is an official IELTS test venue. Operated by English Testing Canada in the North York area of Toronto, this convenient location is easily accessible by public transit (line 1 Yonge-University) or by car. Tests are held on the ground floor of the Aviva Centre (entrance at Gate G). Free parking is available at Gate G with other paid parking lots nearby as well. For wheelchair-accessible entry, an elevator is available through the parking lot at Gate G. A food court offering a variety of restaurants and coffee shops is also within walking distance.
This venue offers the paper-based IELTS test in a quiet and comfortable environment. We are pleased to provide high-quality headphones for our listening tests. For the convenience of our test takers, speaking tests are conducted on the second floor of the same building. This test venue delivers both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training exams.
