IELTS Canada Refugee Promocode Terms & Conditions:

  • The use of the Promo Code is essential to obtain the offer price for the IELTS test. However, it does not mean an automatic right to registration by paying. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the instructions described here and using the promo code to obtain the offer test fee.
  • Promo code eligibility will be limited to individuals presenting genuine refugee claimant documents *. The documents will be verified by the British Council team upon receiving them from the applicants.
  • Applicants must be physically present in Canada at the time of applying for this discount and must not hold permanent resident status or any other status in Canada besides refugee or protected person status. British Council reserves the right to reject any application of the promo code.
  • Promo codes will be valid only for use at select British Council IELTS test centres across Canada. Applicants will receive contact details of the participating test centres with the approval emails and such approvals will remain valid for 30 days only. Applicants must register for a test using the promo codes within those 30 days.
  • Any candidate that registers and pays the standard test fee without entering the promo code cannot make any later request to refund the difference.
  • We have limited number of promo codes available, and they are valid for the period of April 15th 2024 and March 31st 2025. Test takers must book and complete their test within this period.
  • The promo codes are only to be used for IELTS test registration. Standard fees will apply to all other post result services (eg: EOR, OSR, ATRF etc.)
  • The Test Taker that is using the Promo Code can apply to refund and transfers only within the standard policies of the exam which are accepted at the point of registration and in line with the value of the promo code and can be found here.
  • The promo codes are not transferrable under any circumstances. They can only be used by the person made the original request and hence got approval.
  • Promo code is for single use only and can only be used at the proposed test centre once.
  • British Council reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotional offer at any moment and will make its best effort to inform of any change via the same channels of communication that the offer was shared through.
