IELTS on paper is the standard test format in Canada, where the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections will be completed on paper and the Speaking section will be led face-to-face with a trained British Council expert IELTS examiner at your chosen test centre.

You can attend an official IELTS test centre and sit your test on a computer. Questions for the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are shown on the screen and you enter your answers on the computer.
