How to Access This Discount?

To apply for this special discount on the IELTS test fee, follow these steps.

  1. Fill out the application form with your basic information.
  2. Choose the location and Test Centre where you prefer to take the test from the application form list.
  3. Attach a copy of your RPCD (Refugee Protection Claimant Document).
  4. Submit your application!

Your application will be reviewed by the British Council, and if approved, you’ll receive a formal confirmation letter with instructions to complete your registration and book your test. Your 50% discount will be applied as a promo code* during registration.

Eligibility Criteria

Here are some things you need to keep in mind to be eligible for this discount:

  • You must be physically present in Canada at the time of applying for this discount.
  • You must have a valid RPCD and must not hold Canadian permanent residency or any other Canadian migration status besides refugee or protected person status.
  • The discount will only be valid for one month after receiving the approval letter.
  • Within that month, you must register for your IELTS. You may choose any date between April 15, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
